It's been a little over a year since our launch and we are winning in the sole cleaning game! Star Cleaner was the result of searching for a solution to keeping the scuffs off white soles, particularly a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor's, hence the name Star Cleaner. From time to time people call it All-Star Cleaner, however we have no association with the owners of Converse, Nike inc. Our product is more then just a shoe care accessory, but is becoming a iconic brand that urban pop culture identifies with.

I have always been a entrepreneur throughout my life that never hesitated to put ideas to the test. I have launched experimental websites in the past such as the iOdd, which focused on selling odd and unusual iPhone and iPod accessories. At the time iOdd I didn't know much about internet marketing and how to optimize a site for top notch conversion. I believe any sort of niche that is clever can be very lucrative. Before the iOdd, I created a clothing site called Make-A-Fit which allowed users to mix and match tops and bottoms to create a outfit. In a nut shell I didn't believe in my pervious ideas as much as I do in Star Cleaner. It was in April of 2014 when I conceived the idea of a Chuck cleaner! At the time I had bought a pair of Chuck's and was looking for a simple way to freshen them up after noticing how easy they scuff up. I also noticed lots of people on google were searching for "how to clean converse". Next I did some research online and came up with my own cleaning solution. After using it and seeing how well it worked, my marketing side kicked in. My instant sneaker cleaner needed a strong brand! It was at a sandwich shop when the name was first coined. Hours after that I want home and used my photoshop skills to create a logo. Everything from the name and logo design somehow effortlessly fell in place. I knew I was going to have to harness the power of the internet to succeed. I now have 14K Instagram followers and a website that converts! (www.mystarcleaner.com) In October 25, 2014 I attended the world biggest sneaker expo, Sneaker Con. This was a huge success as it gave me inspiration to take my brand to the next level. I feel my Star Cleaner is still in its infant stage, however I am making improvement everyday. My goal is to have online sales supplement my income by next year this time. Without being said I would love to supply major retailers as well, which I feel is not a long stretch. I am enticed and overwhelmed with every step in the process which is fulling my tank to drive harder.
