After owning a pair of Converse Chuck II for over two weeks I am most satisfied with the new non-slip tongue the shoe has. Unlike the original Chuck with a flimsy tongue that either slides to the right or left, the new Chuck II has a firm padded tongue that stays in place! I think I might even find this upgrade more important the then Nike Lunarlon sole which gives the shoe it's needed arch support. I also like the more minimalistic design the shoe has. It seems that Converse dropped the signature blue pinstripe giving the midsole and toe a fresher look. The sneaker still scuffs just as easy and every other pair so we recommend using Star Cleaner to keep your soles in mint condition.
