Since the release to the redesigned Converse Chuck II only one additional colorway (Volt) has been released. Converse is ready for the 2015 holiday season with two new color options for the Chuck Taylor II. This Wednesday Converse will make available the new colors Thunder and Bordeaux which will retail for the same prices at the originals, $70 for the low oxford and $75 for the high-top. The thunder will boast a light grey upper with the a white midsole and top cap, while the Bordeaux will have the same sole only with a maroon upper inspired by the Air Jordan 7 Bordeaux that dropped in 1992. The new colorway release of the Chuck II will have all it's new features such as a non-slip tongue, stitched All-Star Patch, premium canvas upper, Lunarlon insole and monochromatic eyelets.

The designer of the new Adidas Tubular, Nic Galway created the futuristic sneaker from old 1990 concepts that were not possible due to technology. The sole is composed from different density foams which was inspired by the airless tires of the Dakar Rally. Looking at the sneakers design you will notice it's similarities to the Y-3 Casa, which Galway also helped design. If your not familiar with Y-3, Its a subdivision of Adidas that creates sneakers designed my Yohji Yamamoto whom caters to a higher end market. The Tubular has introduced a new vision for the Adidas Originals market allowing more people to have what they never knew was there.
On september 18 Converse will be dropping a brand new colorway of the Chuck II. This sneaker is inspired by the new Nike Lunarlon technology it's features giving this Chuck Taylor a bight glowing yellow tone. One may say this shoe is better off to keep as a conversation piece as it is quite loud in color, however you could wear them with all black everything allowing for the shoe to have full attention. For those that don't know Converse has been owned by Nike, Inc. for over a decade. I wouldn't be surprised if Converse designed a Chuck composed of Flyknit fabric in the near future. I always thought it would be cool to put a air bubble on a pair of All-Stars giving it a little bit of inspiration from the Nike Air Max line. I debating weather I will buy a pair of the Converse Volt color. If if do it will be with the intention of reselling it.
